Week 2

Ahh! finally after enjoying most of my holidays i am here to write about the happenings at ILP@Delhi in week 2. This week was rather easy since no programming was involved. There were some new concepts, internal evaluations (or should i say surprise evaluations) and lots of wait for the Friday to come. Well, moreover on Thursday we were given our employee IDs so that we can login on Ultimatix, a literally ultimate TCS portal where one can find almost everything related to your work.

We were taught about filling our Time-sheets which would help us to get our salary in full. One thing i would say is that Life Skill sessions were very much below as compared to last week's in terms of fun and excitement, but as is said "Life is not the bed of roses". The batch interaction has been good in terms of participation and mix of colleges to an extent there was Christmas party decided which was acknowledged by a few but most of them were not willing because of proximities of their residencies. Well, since only one subject was taught so i have nothing much to say about the course.

But next week holds huge amount of anxiety for us in its kitty as it is announced that two topics would be covered on Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday would be a shocker with Evaluation Component 1(EC1). EC1 being just 2 weeks from the DOJ i think there are lot many things which will be taught to us. I wonder if EC2 too took such a small time then what would be left to teach in our phase 1 of our training, but i believe it would not:). So to summaries EC1 is on Wednesday and i am not yet prepared for it. I fear what would be the result. Hope its not too bad. If one just wants to pass i think there is no need of preparation before joining ILP but if anyone would like to perform exceptionally well, i think you need to prepare beforehand if you can't study everyday.
So best of luck to people who got joining and wishes for those who didn't.

Cheers!!
